Miami Adrenalina, a retail entertainment destination designed for extreme sports enthusiasts, announced Monday that it has signed six new lease agreements as part of its national expansion initiative.
The company has started construction on a store at International Plaza in Tampa, Florida. Demolition and site preparation are scheduled to begin shortly for four additional locations: Houston Galleria, Houston; Willow Bend, Plano, Texas; Cherry Creek Mall, Denver, and North Point Mall, Alpharetta, Ga.
Construction also is expected to begin in the next several months on a location at the Xanadu entertainment/retail complex in the New Jersey Meadowlands, to open around November 2008.
Adrenalina stores, which average 10,000 sq. ft. and carry a wide array of extreme sports apparel, footwear, equipment from top brands, are outfitted with a wave machine (FlowRider) that allows patrons to test their surfing and boarding skills.
