AutoZone expands customer reach

The nation’s leading auto parts and accessories retailer is offering a new delivery program through an affiliation with ShopRunner. According AutoZone, the agreement will ShopRunner will allow it to provided an enhanced online shopping experience because ShopRunner members are able to receive free and unlimited two-day shipping and returns from retail partners.

“ShopRunner will provide additional convenience and savings to AutoZone customers, serving to build out and enhance our existing online functionality and shopping experience,” said Jamey Traywick, AutoZone’s VP of e-commerce. “We look at ShopRunner as a central component of our customer service offering.”

While those working on cars often have an immediate need for parts or accessories, the ShopRunner service extends the retailer’s reach to those who may not have access to one of its 4,405 stores or aren’t in a hurry.
