New York City Barnes & Noble recently signed a lease agreeing to open a new bookstore in Kentwood, Mich.
The store, which is expected to be open by June 2009, will be located in the Woodlands Mall. It will feature cutting-edge technology, including Wi-Fi access, and a RedDotNet previewing system that enables shoppers to pass any DVD, Blu-ray disc, audio book or CD under a dedicated scanner, then electronically preview the contents.
