Birmingham, Ala. Bruno’s Supermarkets will debut a new store design and logo in early 2009, according to the Associated Press.
Plans call for three or four store remodels each year and two to three new stores in the next few years. New locations have not been made final, but they are expected to be in major growth markets.
The company said it has selected Glendale, Calif.-based Palladeo to provide marketing and design services. The new brand and prototype designs are slated to be unveiled in early 2009.
The company has 65 stores operating as Bruno’s, Food World and Food Max throughout Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
