Kearney, Neb. The economic crisis hasn’t taken the luster off teen-fashion retailer The Buckle, Inc. The chain announced Thursday that same-store net sales for the four-week period ended Nov. 29, increased 15.0% from the four-week period ended Dec. 1, 2007.
Net sales for the four-week fiscal month ended Nov. 29 increased 21.6% to $72.2 million from net sales of $59.4 million for the prior year four-week fiscal month ended Dec. 1, 2007.
Same-store net sales year-to-date for the 43-week period ended Nov. 29, increased 22.6% over last year. Net sales for the 43-week fiscal period ended Nov. 29 increased 29.7% to $612.8 million.
The Buckle currently operates 388 retail stores in 39 states.
