CompUSA Unveils Site to Answer Customer Concerns

Dallas CompUSA, which recently announced that it is shuttering its 103 retail stores, has created a Web site to help customers find information related to the company's customer-service programs and policies.

The Web site,, according to the company, provides information on the retailer's policies with respect to extended warranties, gift cards, rain checks, rebates and other customer-service programs. In addition, the company said relevant 800 numbers and hyperlinks will be posted to the Web site to assist with customer inquiries.

CompUSA announced on Dec. 7 that it has been acquired by an affiliate of Gordon Brothers Group. Gordon Brothers Group has initiated an orderly wind-down of CompUSA's retail store operations and is engaged in discussions with various parties regarding the sale of certain assets.
