Toronto Canada’s largest book retailer Indigo Books & Music installed an enterprise workforce management solution from Axsium Group, Toronto, to automate and standardize its time and attendance processes.
The solution accounts for legal and personal workforce requirements and helps the chain create shift schedules that are designed to improve store productivity, enhance the customer experience, and control labor costs.
Since adding the solution, Indigo has decreased its overtime spend and reported positive feedback from employees. “The software enables us to balance the needs of our business, our customers and our associates by increasing productivity, improving employee satisfaction, and aligning store performance with organizational goals,” said John Summers, VP, retail operations at Indigo Books & Music.
