Chicago Primestor Development announced Thursday that Jewel-Osco and Anna’s Linens have opened stores in Marshfield Plaza, a 454,000-sq.-ft. regional shopping center located on Chicago’s South Side.
Jewel-Osco’s store is 64,445 sq. ft. and Anna’s Linens is 8,500 sq. ft. Marshfield Plaza is Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Primestor’s first development in Chicago.
The two retailers join Target, Marshalls, LA Fitness, Staples, Petco, Dollar Tree, Fifth Third Bank, Chili’s, Panda Express, and other tenants at Marshfield Plaza.
The center replaces the shuttered 600,000-sq.-ft. Libby Food canning plant, continuing the redevelopment of the neighborhood’s retail corridor and the 34th Ward’s expansive redevelopment efforts.
