Raleigh, N.C. Drug store retailer Kerr Drug said Tuesday it is expanding its mobile rewards program, called Kerr Mobile Rewards and powered by Motorola.
“A neighborhood pharmacy’s success is tied to how well it communicates with its customers and Kerr Drug believes speaking directly to our customers through multiple platforms is critical to fostering a strong relationship with them,” said Anthony “Tony” Civello, president and CEO of Kerr Drug. “We’re adapting to the many ways our customers use technology.”
Kerr Drug said that Kerr Mobile Rewards were launched in 22 stores in mid-July and that more stores will be added to the program in the coming months.
Features of the rewards program include opt-in weekly offers via mobile device, e-mailed newsletters and coupons, health information and coupons available on social media platforms, register rewards and prescription rewards.
Kerr Mobile Rewards is powered by Motorola's Mobile Loyalty Solution, which is compatible with the majority of mobile phones in the U.S. market.
