L.L. Bean to Implement Retail.net Store Solutions

Salt Lake City, The entire suite of Tomax Corp.’s Retail.net Store Solutions will be applied to all L.L. Bean outlet and chain stores, including the chain’s flagship location in Freeport, Maine. The giant Freeport branch, which never closes, runs up to 70 POS lanes during peak hours. The implementation of Retail.net at this location will make it the largest thin-client retail store in the world.

Aside from streamlining daily POS needs, L.L. Bean’s partnership with Tomax should also improve its product delivery services, monogramming and item-repair transactions, according to both companies.
