Los Angeles Apparel retailer Metropark has launched a free application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The Metropark app allows shoppers to search inventory to narrow results by brand or item. Product pages feature multiple photo views, full descriptions and the ability to view the next or previous page with a tap. Shoppers can also choose their size and add selected items to their bag, or decide later by adding items to a Wish List.
In addition, the app automatically determines a customer’s current location using the iPhone or iPod Touch’s built in GPS to direct them to the nearest Metropark store. It also features a full store locator with directions, store hours and phone numbers.
“From its inception, Metropark has focused on implementing innovative ideas to further appeal to its fashion- and tech-savvy customers,” said Metropark CEO Renee Bell. “We are investing in the future and believe that customers are continually interested in different ways to shop -- and cutting edge technology will remain a key element of our retail strategy.”
