GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Universal gift registry has added Target and Walmart to its growing list of retail affiliate partnerships, which now tops 100. The gift registry also has partnerships with Best Buy, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Kohl's and Amazon.

The gift registry allows users to create free personalized wish lists and provides users access to products from retailers with which it is partnered.

"With the addition of these significant partnerships to our current list of retailers, we feel is poised to become the leading digital gift registry," says founder Kristi Taylor. has also launched a 2.0 version of its mobile application with enhancements that includes a comprehensive redesign including user interface and graphics, the ability to browse the web from the iPad and iPad mini app, personalization of wish lists with cover images and list icons and the ability to share lists with family and friends via email, Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, Facebook friends who are members automatically appear in friends’ lists; non-members can be invited through social media sites as well.
