T-Mobile is rolling out a new design to nearly 400 stores across the country (see related story). The new format, which the company adopted from parent company Deutsche Telekom AG, has a streamlined, ultra-modern look, and includes a variety of service options, from standing counters on the sales floor for quick transactions to more private individual service desks where customers can meet with sales associates.
From new dark wood-planked flooring to a large digital messaging screen at the rear of the store, customers will be presented with an open sales environment designed to provide a quick, easy, clear and concise shopping experience. Vertical highlight-panels installed with information kiosks and video monitors encourage customers to explore and engage in an interactive shopping experience. Product display areas are accented with magenta LED lighting.
Each redesigned store will be completely new from floor to ceiling, enabling T-Mobile to provide customers with a compelling retail experience and improve overall efficiency within the store. The new layout displays merchandise coupled with relevant accessories, so customers don’t have to shop multiple locations throughout the store searching for what they need.
