Trans World narrows losses in Q2

Albany, N.Y. Music retailer Trans World Entertainment Corp. reported late Thursday that it narrowed its losses in the second quarter to a net loss of $15.8 million, compared with a loss of $17.8 million in the year-ago period.

The parent of f.y.e. also reported that sales fell 18% to $135.8 million.
