West Hollywood, Calif., At the end of October, Whole Foods will open a 2,000-sq.-ft. nonfood store adjacent to its food market in West Hollywood. Whole Foods describes its new enterprise as a lifestyle store that will feature clothing, house items and other nonfood products that are consistent with the organic/natural mantra of the chain.
“The development and incorporation of Whole Foods Market Lifestyle reflects the company's founding values into other aspects of life," said Marci Frumkin, marketing director, Whole Foods Market Southern Pacific Region. "Our core values include a commitment to sustainable agriculture, expanding the market for organic products and utilizing wise environmental practices.
