RETAIL STORE OF THE YEAR 2009 DESIGN COMPETITION

ELIGIBILITY

Single unit or chain stores opened between October 31, 2008 and November 27, 2009 are eligible. Entries may be submitted by retailers, designers, architects or anyone involved in the project. 

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

There is an entry fee of $275 for each individual project submitted or $200 each for three or more entries. The fee, payable to Lebhar-Friedman Inc./RSOY by check or money order, is to be submitted with the completed entry form. (To pay by credit card , click here). 

JUDGING

A jury of experienced architects, designers and retailers will select winners based on 3 criteria:

1. Project objective
2. Unique project characteristics
3. Special design elements/materials

AWARDS

All winners will be highlighted in the February 2010 issue of Chain Store Age. Awards will be presented at the Retail Store of the Year awards dinner (details TBA).

DEADLINE

Chain Store Age must receive completed entry forms and slides by December 1, 2009 .
