Chain Store Age’s second annual Green4Retail conference, April 29-30, 2009, in Chicago, attracted retailers and sustainability experts from across the country. The only conference dedicated exclusively to environmental practices in store planning, design, construction and facilities, the event provided a forum for such chains as Food Lion, McDonald’s, Jo-Ann Fabric Stores, Kohl’s Department Stores and Supervalu to discuss their green strategies.
