Kearney, Neb. Teen apparel retailer The Buckle said Thursday it posted a third-quarter profit rise of 15% on higher online and same-store sales.
For the quarter ended Oct. 31, The Buckle earned $33.3 million, compared with $29.1 million for the same quarter last year.
Revenue rose 9.8% to $231.2 million, from $210.6 million a year ago.
Analysts expected $231.1 million in revenue.
Same-store sales at stores rose 4.3%, while online sales, which are not included in same-store sales, jumped 41.9% to $12.5 million.
