Waterloo, Ontario SaaS logistics solutions-provider Descartes Systems Group announced that Sleepy's has implemented the Descartes Fleet Management Solution to improve the mattress retailer’s customer experience, reduce operational costs and grow the business.
Sleepy's objective was to establish efficient routes and real-time reservation capability to ensure that its mattress orders are delivered on time and within budget, as well as having the flexibility to accommodate last-minute customer requests, cancellations or unpredictable delays.

Sleepy's implemented Descartes' Route Planner and Reservations solutions as the technology platform for its home delivery operations.
The solutions are designed to let consumers schedule their own deliveries at the point of sale while maximizing the use of distribution resources.
