New York City Buffalo Exchange will open its second Manhattan store, in the Chelsea area, in late October.
The space will feature an ornate metal period facade, blue-green high ceilings, refinished hardwood floors and high windows. The warm decor is inspired by vintage travel postcards, which will also be on display. There are roomy, well-lit dressing rooms -- nine women's and two men's -- plus two buy counters, where customers can sell their clothes for cash or trade.
The store will open with inventory from Buffalo Exchange stores in Manhattan; Las Vegas; Austin; Houston; Dallas and Phoenix.
