New York -- Shopko is leveraging social media to promote its expanded assortment of national brands. The retailer is holding an eight-week Facebook contest offering participants a chance to win prize packages associated with the featrued brands.
"Shopko's merchandise team evaluates our brand and product assortment on a consistent basis to ensure we are offering our customers the brands they want at a great value," said Jill Soltau, Shopko president and chief merchandising officer. "We offer a wide variety of popular national brands and we are excited to share best-selling products from these brands with eight lucky Facebook winners."
The enter, participants must go to Shopko’s Facebook page and “Like” it so they can watch for posts on the featured brand of the week. Shopko also encourages participants to share with others, thus growing the retailer’s network. Full details of the weekly prize package and promotion with terms and conditions can be found on the Facebook page as well.
One winner will be randomly selected every Friday and announced on the following Monday.
