  • CBRE acquires Greenville, S.C.-based affiliate

    Los Angeles — CBRE Group has acquired the commercial real estate brokerage, investment property sales and property management services business of The Furman Co. and certain of its affiliates. Those business lines have served as CBRE’s affiliate in South Carolina, and have operated under the banner of CBRE|Furman since 2010.

  • Mid-America brokers four leases across Illinios

    Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. — Mid-America Asset Management Inc. has announced four retail leases with retailers planning to open in the spring. Mid-America represented the landlord in each transaction.

    DSW has taken 11,833 sq. ft. in Oakland Place, a 155,730-sq.-ft. center in DeKalb, Ill. Michaels and T.J.Maxx anchor the center. A Super Target shadow anchors. Tartan Realty Group represented DSW.

  • Covo Trattoria to Hamilton Heights in NYC

    New York — Covo Trattoria has leased restaurant space at 3660 Broadway at the intersection with West 151st Street, a prominent corner in the Hamilton Heights district of Upper Manhattan. The space includes 1,500 sq. ft. on the ground floor and a full basement. Covo Trattoria anticipates opening in the spring.

    The eatery has two existing locations in West Harem. At the Hamilton Heights location, Covo Trattoria will join neighbors The Grange, The Chipped Cup, Harlem Public and The Heights Tavern.

  • EDENS signs four at Park Road in Charlotte, N.C.

    Columbia, S.C. — EDENS has announced that four new local retailers and restaurants will open at Park Road Shopping Center in Charlotte, N.C., in the coming months.

    The newly announced additions include:

    • Cantina 1511, a Mexican eatery, plans to open toward the end of this summer.

    • Va Da Vie is a local gelato store scheduled to open in February.

    • LALA Girl, a locally owned beauty service makeup bar, plans to open this spring.

  • Le Pain Quotidien leases Manhattan location

    New York — Le Pain Quotidien has leased a 3,100-sq.-ft. retail location at 1006 First Avenue, on the northeast corner of East 55th Street. A former Chase Bank location, the site offers 65 ft. of frontage set slightly above street level, allowing for excellent visibility and signage.

    Le Pain Quotidien, an organic bakery and communal table restaurant, has more than 200 locations on five continents.

  • Dunkin’ Donuts plans 13 stores in Oklahoma City

    Canton. Mass. – Dunkin’ Donuts has signed a multi-unit store development agreement with existing franchise group, OKD Holdings, to develop 13 new restaurants throughout Oklahoma City. The first of the planned restaurants will open in 2015.

    Together, this team led by second generation Dunkin' Donuts franchisee Misha Goli and his partners will manage and oversee the company's daily operations for each restaurant. Goli currently owns four restaurants throughout Oklahoma City.

  • Tanger Outlets to develop Savannah, Ga., center

    Greensboro, N.C. - Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. plans to develop Tanger Outlets Savannah, in partnership with Georgia development firm Ben Carter Enterprises. Phase One will deliver approximately 400,000 sq. ft. of gross leasable space to the market and the center is expected to house more than 90 upscale brand name and designer outlet stores, with additional outparcel development opportunities.
