  • KeyPoint brokers sale of Shrewsbury, Mass., retail property

    Burlington, Mass. — Torchlight Investors has sold the property at 476 Boston Turnpike. KeyPoint Partners represented Torchlight in the transaction.

    B-W Warrenville Operations bought the property, a former Borders Books store, prominently located in a retail-intensive section of Route 9 near Stop & Shop, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bob’s Stores and Staples.

    The new owner plans to redevelop the site for Buffalo Wild Wings and Tile Shop.

     

  • Rite Aid chooses AMTdirect’s real estate management solution

    Charlotte, N.C. — Rite Aid Corporation has selected AMTdirect’s real estate software solution to manage its portfolio of more than 5,800 locations.   • Nordstrom opens newly relocated store at Americana at Brand

    Glendale, Calif. -- Nordstrom has unveiled its new, relocated store at Americana at Brand, the Caruso-owned luxury shopping center in Glendale, Calif.

    Seattle-based Nordstrom was formerly located at nearby Glendale Galleria, but closed that store to reopen in 135,000 sq. ft. at Americana at Brand, featuring a refreshed interior design over three levels, farm-to-table restaurant Bar Verde, updated beauty experience, and an expanded selection of designer fashion brands including the first TopShop and TopMan in-store boutiques in Los Angeles.

  • GrowLife to open hydroponic store in Santa Rosa, Calif.

    Woodland Hills, Calif. — GrowLife will open its seventh hydroponic retail location in Santa Rosa, Calif., in October.

    The new 3,800-sq.-ft. location will support the company’s online superstores.

     

  • Swim School leases space at Rockville, Md., Center

    Rockville, Md. — Kids First Swim School has leased an 8,654-sq.-ft. space at the Randolph Hills Shopping Center in Rockville, Md. Divaris represented the landlord, Randolph Properties Limited Partnership, in the transaction.

    Kids First Swim School is the nation’s largest provider of year-round, warm-water swimming instruction. The school operates in 16 locations in four states and teaches more than 80,000 students every year.

  • Cullinan appoints direct of leasing in Chicago office

    Peoria, Ill. — Cullinan has announced the appointment of Victor Ambrosio and VP, director of leasing in the company’s Chicago office. In his new role, Ambrosio will direct Cullinan’s leasing, sales and marketing functions and manage third party broker relationships.

  • Calypso St. Barth signs into Malibu Country Mart

    Malibu, Calif. — Calypso St. Barth will open its fifth Southern California store on Oct. 18, at the Malibu Country Mart. Existing SoCal stores are in West Hollywood, Brentwood, Century City and Montecito.

    Malibu Country Mart encompasses six acres and leases to 68 tenants offer high-end retail, dining and services.

     

  • DSW to open N.J. store

    Columbus, Ohio – DSW Inc. is opening a new store in Eatontown, N.J., on Sept. 26.

    The store will be located at 135 Route 35 in Eatontown. Customers will be eligible to participate in the DSW Rewards loyalty program as well as the DSW Shoe Lover program on Facebook which enables them to receive exclusive offers and giveaways, including chances to win free shoes on Facebook each Tuesday.

  • New Red Robins in Staten Island and Baltimore

    Greenwood Village, Colo. — Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has announced the opening of new restaurants in Staten Island, N.Y., and Baltimore.

     There currently are 482 Red Robin locations across the U.S. and Canada, including 343 company-owned restaurants and five Red Robin’s Burger Works locations, and 134 franchised restaurants.

     

  • HomeGoods inks lease for The Shoppes at Flemington

    Flemington, N.J. — HomeGoods has signed a long-term lease with The Shoppes at Flemington in Flemington, N.J., and is open and operating in a 22,000-sq.-ft. building that came as part of the deal.

    Levin Management manages and markets the center for the owner, Garrison Investment Group. Welco Realty represented HomeGoods.

    Levin also served as the construction manager for the development of the new retail space and managed the land development approvals.
