Staples Inc. has been a place to get printing done since it opened in the 1980s, but now the retailer is taking printing to a whole new level.
MakerBot and Staples announced today that MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers and MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanners are now available in 50 select Staples retail stores across 18 states.
Westchester’s Ridge Hill shopping center will host a special “pop-up” event with MakerBot showcasing its 3-D printing technology on July 24, from 6-9 p.m.
The Home Depot is collaborating with 3-D printer manufacturer MakerBot to start selling MakerBot Replicator desktop 3-D printers online and in 12 Home Depot stores in California, Illinois and New York, beginning July 14.
