BJ’s Wholesale launches Micros’ new loss prevention exception reporting solution

Westboro, Mass. — MICROS-Retail, a division of Micros Systems, announced BJ’s Wholesale’s successful launch of Micros-Retail’s next generation loss prevention and business analytics solution, XBR Ingenium.

As an existing user of MICROS-Retail’s XBR, BJ’s launched a pilot of XBR Ingenium. \After a successful program, BJ’s is now deploying Micros-Retail XBR Ingenium company-wide, seeking to increase the investigative capabilities and productivity of its asset protection team.

MICROS-Retail XBR Ingenium provides more flexible and behavioral exception reports, allowing organizations to focus on the key areas of fraudulent activity. With an interactive dashboard, field users can quickly spot high-risk areas in their stores and districts.

Additionally, MICROS-Retail XBR Ingenium is highly intuitive and easy to use, allowing all users to quickly learn the solution and identify fraudulent activity. This allows BJ’s asset protection team to be more proactive and efficient in identifying, tracking and resolving issues.

BJ’s nips loss in the bud with new tech

WESTBORO, Mass. — BJ’s Wholesale will leverage Micros-Retail’s loss prevention and business analytics solution, XBR Ingenium, to increase its asset protection team’s investigative capabilities and productivity.

Micros-Retail XBR Ingenium will allow BJ’s to generate flexible and behavioral exception reports, so it can focus on key areas of fraudulent activity. The business solution offers an interactive dashboard, so field users can quickly spot high-risk areas in their stores and districts.

Interactive functionality, such as pivoting, drilling and linking, provides users with analytical capabilities and aims to allow users to efficiently identify, track and resolve issues.

"Through the assistance of the Micros team, we have implemented a tool that is analyst, end-user and administrator friendly. I am confident this will drive higher case identification and provide a strong ROI in short order," stated Charles Delgado, VP of asset protection at BJ’s Wholesale.

Ann Taylor debuts collection by Kate Hudson

NEW YORK — Ann Taylor has partnered with celebrity Kate Hudson on an exclusive collection set to debut in Ann Taylor stores next week.

To mark the launch of the limited-edition collection, the retailer will host a White Party at Ann Taylor stores nationwide from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, where guests will be invited to shop the collection.

The first clients to purchase a piece from the capsule collection during the in-store event will receive an Ann Taylor gift card, courtesy of InStyle.

"I’m so excited about the capsule collection and working with Ann Taylor. It was such an honor when they asked me to come back for the campaign and to work on a collection inspired by my personal style. We have a great relationship — it’s really fun. I love how Lisa Axelson, Ann Taylor’s creative director, picked up on my style and helped turned it into a very chic, incredibly wearable collection," said Hudson.

The collection includes ready-to-wear pieces with dress and skirts priced up to $128 and tops priced up to $78, as well as accessories with heels priced up to $158 and jewelry priced up to $58.

Ann Taylor operates 275 stores across the United States, as well as an e-commerce website at www.anntaylor.com.
