Bloom Names Troy Leshko as VP of Retail Operations

Bloom Supermarkets has promoted Troy Leshko to the position of VP of Retail Operations.

In his new role, Leshko will oversee the operations of more than 60 Bloom stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and Virginia. His responsibilities will include developing retail strategies and leading company initiatives, merchandising, recruiting, people development and talent planning, quality assurance, profitability and guest satisfaction.

Leshko, who began his career with Food Lion in 1988 as a bagger, has served in a number of positions with the company, including store manager, district manager, project manager and, most recently, as Bloom’s director of Strategy and Innovation.

Bloom is a banner of Food Lion LLC, a subsidiary of Brussels-based Delhaize Group. Bloom operates more than 60 stores in North and South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland.

Men’s Wearhouse Makes Exec Appointment

Houston Men’s Wearhouse Inc. on Monday promoted Mary Beth Blake to president of K&G Fashion Superstore, the company’s discount chain.

Blake had been chief merchandising officer for K&G since May.

Before joining Men’s Wearhouse, Blake was senior VP, general merchandise manager for the men’s and children’s sectors at Macy’s Midwest division.

Men’s Wearhouse operates 1,298 stores under names The Men’s Wearhouse, Moores, K&G and MW Tux.

Charming Shoppes Appoints Design Head

Bensalem, Pa. Charming Shoppes and Fashion Bug Monday announced that Kady Dalrymple has been appointed senior VP, design and product development, for the company’s Fashion Bug brand, effective immediately.

Kady’s recent background includes the position of executive VP and fashion director of Express, a division, at that time, of Limited Brands, Inc. Previous to Express, she was instrumental in the start up of DKNY as their VP of merchandising.
