Boynton Beach Mall announces new retailers and CCS south Florida debut
Boynton Beach, Fla. — Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group announced that its Boynton Beach Mall property recently welcomed eight new local retailers to its tenant lineup and has also announced the South Florida debut of CCS, a national skate and extreme sports concept store from Foot Locker, to open later this year.
Additionally, several national retailers are in the process of renovating and updating existing locations at the regional shopping mall.
New to Boynton Beach Mall are the locally owned Abbey Photography Studio, Comfort Shoes, Kara Fashions jewelry and accessories, Le Petit Pain, a gourmet French bakery, Pigtailz and Coolcutz children’s hair salon, Ragg Tagg featuring rock ‘n’ roll, movie and cultural memorabilia and urban outfitters II Gender and Mixx. The mall has also added Humana insurance and healthcare services located in the north wing.
This fall, the Boynton Beach Mall will welcome South Florida’s first CCS skate and extreme sports retail concept store. The store will be located near the new Stardust Arcade at the west entrance.
On the renovation front, J.C. Penney is undergoing an extensive renovation of its 105,000-sq.-ft. store that will soon include a 2,000-sq.-ft. Sephora beauty boutique. Macy’s is improving its exterior façade while Hot Topic and Auntie Anne’s are updating their store looks and presentations. Both Globall Sports and Gold Buyers+ have expanded to larger spaces within in the mall.
Boynton Beach Mall, owned by Simon Property Group, features a Cinemark 14 Theater, Too Jay’s Deli, Macy’s, Dillards Men’s and Women’s, J.C. Penney and Sears, along with 135 specialty stores and eateries.
Aerosoles to open at Citadel Outlets
Los Angeles — SPL Realty Partners announced that it has secured a retail space for footwear retailer Aerosoles in Citadel Outlets in Los Angeles.
The 2,059-sq.-ft. store is scheduled to open on May 19 in the new third phase of Citadel Outlets, the only outlet center in Los Angeles County. The space boasts almost 50 ft. of frontage and sits adjacent to Under Armour, across from adidas and converse and steps from a large parking field.
Scott Lifschultz, president of SPL Realty Partners, represented Aerosoles and arranged the transaction on behalf of the footwear company.
“Citadel Outlets is a natural for Aerosoles, as the shoe company has found success in other outlet centers throughout the United States,” said Lifschultz.
Jos. A. Bank opens at Willow Grove Park
Willow Grove, Pa. — Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust said that Jos. A. Bank has opened at Willow Grove Park, in Willow Grove, Pa.
The 4,465-sq.-ft. store is located next to Bloomingdale’s and joins other men’s fashion collection stores Men’s Wearhouse and Tux, Express, J. Crew, Banana Republic and Guess.
Willow Grove Park is a three-level, 1.2 million-sq.-ft. regional shopping mall, located north of Philadelphia in eastern Montgomery County. Anchored by Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Sears and The Cheesecake Factory, Willow Grove Park also features more than 130 specialty stores including Abercrombie, Abercrombie & Fitch, Banana Republic, Coach, Teavana, J. Crew, Lucky Brand Jeans and Williams Sonoma.
