Brooks Bros. to open at Phillips Place
Charlotte, N.C. Real estate firm Lincoln Harris said Thursday that Brooks Bros. will open a new store at Phillips Place, in Charlotte, N.C. The new store is slated to open spring 2011.
Orvis, Restoration Hardware and PF Chang’s anchor the 130,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use center, which is also tenanted by Modern Salon and Spa, Dean & Deluca, Taylor Richards & Conger and Upstream restaurant. A new Pinkberry frozen yogurt store opens July 23.
Baskins Western Wear to open four Texas stores
Austin, Texas SRS Real Estate Partners said Wednesday that four new store locations have been finalized for Baskins Western Wear in Lufkin, Texarkana, Corpus Christi, and Waco, Texas.
The new stores for the Livingston, Texas-based retailer of western apparel and supplies will range from 15,000 sq. ft. to 20,000 sq. ft. The four new locations will bring Baskins to a total of 20 stores.
The Lufkin store, at 22,568 sq. ft., is located in The Lufkin Mall and opened May 28. The 15,000-sq.-ft. Texarkana store is located at Richmond Ranch and is slated to open in early 2011. The 20,000-sq.-ft. Corpus Christi location will be at The Promenade, and is scheduled to open in late 2010. And the Waco store, in Waco Centre, is 15,030 sq. ft. and is expected to open in early 2011.
Macy’s to open in Tracy, Calif.
Cincinnati Macy’s said Wednesday it will open a new store in Tracy, Calif., at the General Growth-owned West Valley Mall this fall.
The single-level, 101,000-sq.-ft. store will open in a former Gottschalk’s location.
In Tracy, Macy’s will offer a full range of apparel and accessories, as well as housewares, home textiles and luggage. The store will employ approximately 130 associates.
