Buxton to launch SCOUT 3.0 at ICSC RECon
Fort Worth, Texas — Customer analytics firm Buxton announced it will officially launch the latest version of its real estate and analytics platform at the International Council of Shopping Centers RECon show in Las Vegas later this month.
SCOUT 3.0 is a cloud-based, data visualization and analytics tool used by executives in the retail industry to execute real estate and marketing strategies. The platform includes dashboard capabilities for C-level executives to see performance across their entire organization via mobile/tablet technology.
“For a retailer to be able to visualize their customers at the household level is a real game-changer,” said Charles Wetzel, CEO, Buxton.
SCOUT illustrates who a retailer’s customers are, where they are located, and the value of those customers to the retail organization. The platform connects decision makers from executives, operations, marketing and merchandising to Buxton’s custom analytic models.
New features in the platform include Google street view, split screen views, loading and editing customer data, full market optimization, reverse geocoding by clicking on a map, dynamic thematic mapping, mobile and tablet capability, and unlimited scenario testing.
SCOUT 3.0 will be featured during in the Marketplace Mall at RECon 2012 on Monday, May 21 at 3:00.
Sabre arranges 20,000 sq. ft. of retail leases
Garden City, N.Y. — Sabre Real Estate Group said it has arranged five retail leases on Long Island totaling almost 20,000 sq. ft.
In Commack, N.Y., women’s apparel retailer Bolton’s leased 2,500 sq. ft. in the Mayfair Shopping Center for a store that is expected to open in June. Levin Management Corp., of Plainfield, N.J., owns the shopping center.
In Wantagh, Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union leased 4,000 sq. ft. for a branch in the Willow Woods Shops. In Carle Place, piano retailer Frank & Camille’s East leased 6,000 sq. ft. at the Shops at Carle Place shopping center for a showroom. Also in Carle Place, frozen yogurt chain Cups leased 1,250 sq. ft. in the Country Glen Shopping Center.
In Woodbury, N.Y., Andrea’s 25 Ristorante Italiano signed a lease for a second location, 4,000 sq. ft. at Woodbury Common, owned by Kabro Associates.
RKF opens Chicago office
New York — RKF announced the opening of a Chicago office as part of its ongoing expansion into key urban markets nationwide. This is the firm’s seventh office; others include its New York headquarters, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Northern New Jersey, and San Francisco.
“The opening of our Chicago office is a crucial part of our national strategy to expand RKF’s on-the-ground presence in key urban markets in the U.S.,” said RKF chairman & CEO Robert Futterman.
Anthony Campagni, managing director, is the first to join the firm’s Chicago office. Campagni joins RKF from Baum Realty Group and specializes in retail-tenant and landlord representation. He is joined by associate Elan Rasansky, who was also previously with Baum Realty Group.
