Catalog Spree partners with Google
Los Altos, Calif. — Catalog Spree, the personal digital mall that lets consumers browse and shop their favorite brands, has teamed with Google to distribute interactive retail catalogs and lookbooks on the web through Lightbox Ads. These targeted ads will feature Catalog Spree’s full-page catalogs and lookbooks, and will be distributed on the Google Display Network, which reaches more than 100 million American consumers.
This joint advertising offering for retailers compliments the best-in-class mobile retail solutions provided by Catalog Spree, including its all-digital publication platform and catalog shopping app for the iPad and iPhone. Retailers can now take content and assets created by and for Catalog Spree and have it automatically republished as a Lightbox Ad.
Shopko taps Genco for transportation procurement project
Pittsburgh — Genco has been selected to manage a truckload transportation procurement event for Shopko. The collaborative effort will encompass Shopko’s inbound and outbound transportation network and is the third strategic procurement engagement Genco has provided to Shopko.

QVC makes executive appointment
West Chester, Pa. — QVC announced the appointment of Matthew Goldberg to the position of senior VP global market development. Goldberg, who will assume his new role in October 2013, will be responsible for driving global growth, reporting to Mike George, president and CEO of QVC.
Goldberg most recently served as CEO of Lonely Planet, where he drove the company’s geographic expansion into China, India, Brazil, Russia and other markets, through partnerships and local operations. He recently facilitated the sale of Lonely Planet to a private investor.
