CBRE sells Westover Marketplace in San Antonio
Los Angeles — CBRE’s nation retail investment group has announced the sale of San Antonio’s Westover Marketplace Shopping Center on behalf of Coventry Real Estate Advisors. Inland American purchased the 242,664-sq.-ft. property for an undisclosed price.
The Class A regional power center resides inside the Westover Hills master-planned development. It is 93.4% occupied.
Anchors include Gander Mountain, Ross Dress for Less, PetSmart, Office Depot and Melrose. There are a number of shadow anchors, including Target, Lowe’s, Toys “R” Us/Babies “R” Us and Dollar Tree.
RadioShack opens second California concept store
Fort Worth, Texas — RadioShack has opened the company’s second California concept store in Sun Valley. RadioShack has been part of the Sun Valley community since opening in 1982. The new concept store has moved to a new location in Canyon Plaza.
RadioShack concept stores feature interactive areas throughout the store, including a speaker wall, interactive displays that enable brand comparisons, and idea center where customers can bring ideas to life, technology that helps customers understand product features and functions and specially configured brand displays.
The Sun Valley location is one of more than 25 concept stores to open since the company began converting to such stores in July 2013. The first California concept store opened in Lynwood in January.
Wow! Inks deal in Pawcatuck, Conn.
Burlington, Mass. — New England regional fitness company, Wow! WorkOut World has subleased an 18,474-sq.-ft. space at Pawcatuck Shopping Center in Pawcatuck, Conn. KeyPoint Partners negotiated the sublease on behalf of its client Stop & Shop.
Pawcatuck Shopping Center is a convenience-oriented center with a variety of local tenants and a Rite Aid pharmacy.
The KeyPoint Partners leasing team handles leasing for retail properties totaling nearly six million sq. ft.
