CertaPro Painters Commercial Services Appoints Director of Business Development
CertaPro Painters Commercial Services, North America’s largest commercial painting contractor, announced the appointment of Pete Cobb to director of business development. In his new position, Cobb will be focused on designing and implementing programs for all customer segments, as CertaPro continues to expand market share for its quality commercial painting services.
Cobb comes to CertaPro with more than 22 years of experience in sales and management at the Sherwin-Williams Company, having spent his last five years in the painting and coatings industry as the company’s national account manager.
Safeway launches site for Eating Right line
PLEASANTON, Calif. To support its line of good-for-you foods, Safeway has launched a dedicated Web site for its Eating Right brand.
At http://eatingright.safeway.com, visitors can find information on Eating Right products. According to the site, the line provides more than 150n healthy options across more than 20 categories, including frozen entrees, hot and cold cereals, soups and canned goods.
The Web site also provided information on the Eating Right line’s Spot Your Needs Gallery, which is a color-coded system that helps shoppers find products best suited to their dietary needs.
Digital sales lead music growth in ’07
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Digital music is proving to be the way of the future. According to the latest figures released by Nielsen SoundScan, both digital track sales and digital album sales have soared in 2007.
Nielsen SoundScan reported that digital track sales for the 52-week period between Jan. 1, 2007 and Dec. 30, 2007 rose by 45% and digital album sales for the same period were up 53%. These numbers helped boost overall music sales for the period, which gained 14% in the past year.
The overall music growth was offset, however, by total album sales, which fell by 15%.
