Coldwater Creek, Buckle open at Premier Centre
Mandeville, La. — Covington, La.-based Stirling Properties said that Coldwater Creek and Buckle have opened at Premier Centre, a 295,000-sq.-ft. grocery-anchored center in Mandeville, La.
Buckle’s 5,000-sq.-ft. store is its 11th location in Louisiana. Coldwater Creek’s 4,833-sq.-ft. store is its fifth in the state.
Pine Tree Silverpeak JV teams with Privet to acquire Alabama center
Northbrook, Ill. — Pine Tree Silverpeak Retail Partners, a joint venture between Northbrook, Ill.-based Pine Tree Commercial Realty and New York City-based Silverpeak Real Estate Partners, recently teamed up with New York City-based Privet Investments in the acquisition of Hamilton Place Shopping Center in Auburn, Ala.
The partners purchased the grocery-anchored shopping center from an Alabama-based developer, assuming existing financing. Publix anchors the 79,540-sq.-ft. center.
Pine Tree Commercial Realty will be handling the property management and will share leasing responsibilities with The Shopping Center Group, based in Birmingham, Ala.
Sabre Real Estate names execs
Garden City, N.J. — Sabre Real Estate Group said that Beth Lamport has joined the firm as executive VP.
Previously a director at Breslin Realty, Lamport also was a broker at Polimeni Realty and spent more 20 years as a marketing executive at Federal Department Stores, which owned Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Filene’s and Stern’s and now is known as Macy’s Inc.
In related news, Sabre also named Stuart Fagen as managing director. Fagen recently dissolved his retail brokerage company, the Fagen Group. Prior to starting his own firm, Fagen was director of acquisitions at the Alrose Group and before that a broker at Breslin Realty.
