Cushman & Wakefield appoints retail services leader
New York City –Cushman & Wakefield announced that Matthew Winn has been appointed senior managing director, U.S. Retail Services Leader. He will be based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta office.
Previously, Winn served as managing director for Cushman & Wakefield’s retail consulting group.
In this new position, Winn will coordinate with counterparts throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, work closely with the U.S. Retail Services team, the Corporate Occupier & Investor Services group and other service lines to help guide strategic initiatives for retail tenants and institutional owners.
Coyote Management names Lakeshore Mall GM
Addison, Texas –Coyote Management, L.P. announced that Michael Carey will join Coyote Management starting June 1 as the new General Manager at Lakeshore Mall.
Carey comes to Coyote Management, L.P. with over nine years of experience in the shopping center industry. He began his career with Stein Mart, then spent nine years with CBL & Associates.
Hulen Mall launches multi-million-dollar renovation project
Fort Worth, Texas –Chicago-based General Growth Properties announced that Hulen Mall, in Fort Worth, Texas, will undergo a major interior facelift and renovation beginning Monday, May 23.
The transformation will include numerous shopper amenities and aesthetic upgrades such as new energy-saving lighting; all new flooring throughout the center; a new family restroom area; a play area, extensive painting and more. The entire project is expected to be completed within the next six months. Much of the work will take place after mall hours to ensure an optimum shopping experience for customers and retailers.
The completion of the interior construction will coincide with the completion of the new 22,000-sq.-ft. outdoor restaurant plaza currently underway on the east side of Hulen Mall. Abuelo’s and BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse are targeting November opening dates.
