Easton Gateway adds 13 tenants
Columbus, Ohio – Easton Town Center, a 1.7 million-sq.-ft. “New Urban” shopping center, has announced that 13 new tenants have signed lease agreements to be included in the shopping center’s new 500,000-sq.-ft. north district, Easton Gateway. The announcement was made by Easton Town Center co-developers Steiner + Associates and The Georgetown Company.
The tenants include Jos. A. Bank, The Container Store, Z Gallerie, Fusian, BJ’s Restaurant and Bewhouse, Bath & Body Works, Payless Shoe Source, White Barn Candle Co., Total Comfort Shoes, European Wax Center, Elements Massage, La-Z-Boy and Charming Charlie.
The new tenants will join Golf Galaxy, J. Alexander’s, Melt, Pies & Pints and Whole Foods, which were previously announced in December and currently under construction. Several other major retailers have already opened at Easton Gateway development including Costco, REI, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Field & Stream and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th.
Magnolia Marketplace opens in New Orleans
New Orleans – Magnolia Marketplace, a 106,000-sq.-ft. shopping center located in New Orleans’ Central City neighborhood, opened Friday, March 13. The project, overseen by JCH Development and Stirling Properties, was 100% pre-leased prior to the January 2014 groundbreaking.
Open tenants at Magnolia Marketplace include: T.J.Maxx, Ross Dress For Less, PetSmart, Shoe Carnival, ULTA Beauty and Raising Cane’s. Michaels will open on March 20. The initial phase of Magnolia Marketplace included a 6,000-sq.-ft. development that opened in 2014 and now houses Capital One Bank, Subway and T-Mobile.
H&M expands in Texas with Golden Triangle Mall location
Denton, Texas — Fashion-forward retailer H&M will open a new store at Golden Triangle Mall, in Denton, Texas. The 23,000-sq.-ft. location is slated to open fall 2015, bringing its Texas store count to 15.
Golden Triangle Mall has recently undergone a redevelopment, with new entrances and facades, center court, performance area and other enhancements. The 765,000-sq.-ft. enclosed mall is owned by GTM Development, a partnership between The McHerring Group and Cencor Realty Services, and is anchored by J.C. Penney, Dillards, Macy’s and Sears.
