Eileen Fisher to open store at Schaumburg Promenade

Oak Brook, Ill. Inland Real Estate Corp. said it has signed a lease with Eileen Fisher Company Store to occupy 8,085 sq. ft. at Schaumburg Promenade in Schaumburg, Ill.

Schaumburg Promenade is adjacent to Woodfield Mall along Schaumburg’s prime retail corridor. With the addition of Eileen Fisher, the center is now 100% occupied. The 91,851-sq.-ft. retail center’s tenant lineup also includes DSW Shoe Warehouse, Ashley Furniture, Destination XL and Blicks Art Materials.

Eileen Fisher Company Store is an upscale women’s fashion outlet store offering merchandise from designer retailer Eileen Fisher, Inc., which operates 44 stores nationwide.

HomeGoods to open its first Manhattan store

New York City Winick Realty Group announced that HomeGoods has signed on for its first Manhattan location.

The discount home-furnishings retailer will occupy 5,732 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 20,671 sq. ft. of retail space on the lower level in the new development called Columbus Square. It is located at 795 Columbus Avenue, between 98th and 99th Streets.

The new HomeGoods store is expected to open in the first quarter of next year.

A&F store with bedbugs reopens

New York An Abercrombie & Fitch store in Manhattan that was closed on Friday because of bedbugs reopened Thursday.

The store, in the South Street Seaport, was the second of two stores operated by Abercrombie in the city that closed because of the bugs. Abercrombie’s surf-themed Hollister store in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan reopened Saturday.
