Executive VP Tom Taylor to Leave The Home Depot
Atlanta, The Home Depot announced that Tom Taylor, executive VP of merchandising and marketing, has decided to leave the company at the end of the year. Taylor will continue to lead the company’s merchandising and marketing initiatives throughout the year, and will assist in the selection and transition of his replacement. In addition, Taylor and Home Depot intend to enter into a longer-term consulting agreement following his departure.
Jo-Ann Stores Names New CEO
Hudson, Ohio, Jo-Ann Stores Inc. on Wednesday named Darrell Webb as chairman, president and CEO, effective July 24. Webb was previously president of grocer Kroger Co.’s Fred Meyer division. He replaces Alan Rosskamm, who is retiring as chairman, president and CEO but staying on as a board member.
Victoria Secret President Joins Liz Claiborne
New York City, Liz Claiborne Inc. named Jill Granoff group president of its direct-to-consumer division. She will oversee specialty retail outlet and on-line stores in the United States, which accounted for 25% of its 2005 revenue. Most recently, Granoff served as president and COO of Victoria’s Secret Beauty, a division of Limited Brands.
