Express and Alliance Data extend agreement
Dallas — Alliance Data Systems Corp. said Tuesday that it has extended its agreement with Express to continue providing Express with private-label credit card services including account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization, card issuance, statement generation, remittance processing, customer service functions, and multichannel marketing services.
Under terms of the extension agreement, Alliance Data said it will work with Express to evolve its card program through new cardholder benefits, new card plastics, and testing a new points-based loyalty program. Additionally, the team will explore mobile marketing and payment solutions, focusing on enhancing the customer experience, engaging new and existing customers, and acquiring new accounts.
“Coupling our unique brand and loyal customer base with Alliance Data’s credit and marketing expertise, we have a great opportunity to take our credit card program to the next level," said Jim Wright, senior VP marketing, Express.

Michaels launches photo project website
Irving, Texas — Michaels said Monday that it has launched [email protected], an online-based application that allows customers to create photo books, scrapbook pages, greeting cards and custom invitations at MiDesign.Michaels.com.
The website provides both free and premium content that can be used with customers’ uploaded photos to create books, pages or cards. All [email protected] users can have their projects professionally printed, bound and shipped to their homes or nearest Michaels store.

Old Navy partners with Telemuno on web series
San Francisco — Old Navy has partnered with Telemundo to launch telenovela-style miniseries for the web.
The Spanish-language web novela, "Estilos Robados" (Stolen Styles), is a six part miniseries that launched last Friday, Oct. 14, and will air on Fridays through Nov. 18 on the "Estilos Robados" tab within Old Navy’s Facebook page and on Old Navy’s Spanish YouTube channel, as well as on Telemundo Movil.
As a special interactive twist, the audience will "choose her outfit, choose her fate" at the conclusion of each episode by voting on a favorite Old Navy look for the main character, Isabella Reyes, the company reported.
