Five Below to open six stores
Philadelphia Philadelphia-based discount retailer Five Below plans to open six stores during the first week of November.
Three of the stores are located in the Pittsburgh area, a new market for the chain. The other locations are in Philadelphia, Altoona, Pa., and Enfield, Conn.
With the early November openings, Five Below will have 102 stores in nine states, from New Hampshire to Virginia.
By the end of 2010, the retailer hopes to have 200 locations.
Developers Diversified names exec
Beachwood, Ohio Developers Diversified Realty Corp. announced the appointment of Thomas Garvey to senior leasing director — anchor store redevelopment.
Garvey will be responsible for leasing available space over 20,000 sq. ft. primarily in the Midwest.
UPS Store leases space at West Park Plaza
San Jose, Calif. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said Tuesday it has leased retail space in San Jose, Calif., at West Park Plaza to The UPS Store.
The UPS Store has leased 1,483 sq. ft. of retail space and is slated to open for business November.
