Grapevine Mills names marketing director
Grapevine, Texas — Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group said that Kerri Bear has joined the management team at Grapevine Mills as director of marketing and business development.
Bear will be responsible for managing marketing, advertising and public relations programs, as well as selling in-mall media, securing sponsorships, coordinating promotional events and driving tourism.
Grapevine Mills is the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in North Texas, featuring Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, J. Crew Factory, Forever 21, Banana Republic Factory Store, G by Guess, Gap Generation, Ecko Unlimited, Tommy Hilfiger Company Store, Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet, Ann Taylor Loft, Nike Factory Store and Oakley Vault.
Intermix to open new store in Meatpacking District
New York City — Robert K. Futterman & Associates announced it has secured a long-term, 2,725-sq. ft. lease with high-end apparel and accessories retailer Intermix in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.
This completes the first of three phases of leasing at the building, which is situated on the southwest corner at the intersection of Washington and Gansevoort Streets, where Intermix will have two entrances.
Scheduled to open in August 2011, the new store will be located at the base of the West Coast, a 389,376-sq.-ft., 159-unit luxury rental apartment building owned and managed by TF Cornerstone. This will be the brand’s sixth store in Manhattan.
Intermix will occupy 1,885 sq. ft. on the ground floor, 240 sq. ft. in the mezzanine and 600 sq. ft. in the basement.
New six-screen movie theatre to open in Ocala
Ocala, Fla. — RMC Property Management Group announced that it has executed a new lease for a movie theater on behalf of the owner of Marion Shopping Center in Ocala, Fla.
Ocala Center 6, a six-screen theater, will occupy a 16,500-sq.-ft. space and is slated to open in May. Marion Shopping Center is anchored by Bealls Outlet and Rainbow Apparel.
