Hhgregg opens Cincy store
Indianapolis — Hhgregg will open a new store in the Cincinnati area on Sept. 19. The new store, located at 5045 Glencrossing Way in the Western Hills section of Cincinnati, will replace the previous location at 5111 Glencrossing Way.
“We are excited to introduce a new, modern store to our customers in Western Hills,” said Jeff Pearson, senior VP of marketing for Hhgregg. “We hope that Cincinnati-area residents will take advantage of special sale pricing at all of our local stores, including great specials on a wide variety of computers, televisions, phones, tablets and appliances.”

McAlister’s Deli to develop 17 restaurants in Indiana, Georgia, and South Carolina
Alpharetta, Ga. — McAlister’s Deli announced plans to develop 17 restaurants in Indiana, South Carolina, and Georgia as part of new multi-unit development agreements with two existing franchise groups.
"We are pleased that our existing franchisees are continuing to expand with McAlister’s Deli," said McAlister’s Deli president and CEO Frank Paci. "Their commitment to develop demonstrates their confidence in the brand’s strength and its ability to provide franchisees with an attractive investment."
McIndy Ventures a current McAlister’s franchisee with 16 restaurants will develop 14 new restaurants in Indiana with the first location scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2014.
DMAC81 an existing franchisee with 10 McAlister’s restaurants, plans to open three restaurants in Georgia and South Carolina with the first location slated to open in second quarter 2014 in Georgia.

Burlington is coming to Northgate Mall
Chattanooga, Tenn. — CBL & Associates Properties, Inc has announced that Burlington Coat Factory will locate its first and only store in Chattanooga at Northgate Mall. The new 63,000-sq.-ft store will stand between Sears and J.C. Penney. Shoppers will enter from the mall and from outside from the east parking lot.
Several stores will relocate to accommodate the redevelopment. Plans call for construction to begin in January with the grand opening scheduled for October 2014.
CBL is also carrying out a multi-million dollar renovation of the mall. The renovation will enhance the main entrance and re-pave portions of the parking lot. Inside the mall, the remodeling work will add new soft seating areas and new flooring along with ceiling and lighting upgrades. The renovation should finish up this fall.
A new Old Navy store going up next to the southwest mall entrance plans to open in January 2014.
In addition, the redevelopment of the mall’s associated shopping center located across the parking field is nearing completion. T.J.Maxx received a new façade. Michaels celebrated its grand opening in early September. Ross Dress for Less has planned its grand opening for the fall.
