Hudson’s Bay Names New CEO
New York City A report on Tuesday in the New York Post said Canadian retailer Hudson’s Bay has hired Bonnie Brooks away from Hong Kong-based luxury chain Lane Crawford to run its department store business.
The appointment follows the Hudson’s Bay buyout last month by Purchase, N.Y.-based private-equity fund NRDC. In addition to The Bay, Hudson’s Bay operates the Zellers, Home Outfitters and Fields chains.
OSH Appoints Mark Kauffman Senior VP Merchandising
San Jose, Calif. – Orchard Supply Hardware (OSH) has appointed Mark Kauffman senior VP of merchandising. He will be responsible for merchandising and category management as well as providing key leadership for the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Prior to joining OSH, Kauffman served as senior VP of merchandising and retail stores at Northern Tool and Equipment in Burnsville, Minn., and as senior VP/GMM at Lowe’s.
Delhaize Group Names Former Revlon CEO to Board
New York City Delhaize Group said Monday it will add former Revlon CEO Jack L. Stahl to its board. He replaces William L. Roper, who left to pursue other opportunities.
Stahl was CEO of Revlon Inc. from 2002 until he retired in 2006. He was also an executive at Coca-Cola Inc. for 22 years.
