JLL begins management of Del Mar Plaza
San Diego — JLL’s Retail announced the firm has been retained by GLL Real Estate Partners to manage Del Mar Plaza, a 75,000-sq.-ft., upscale, open-air shopping center located at 1555 Camino Del Mar, in Del Mar, California.
The property’s tenant mix includes Banana Republic, El Agave Restaurant, II Fornaio, Pacifica Del Mar, Gary’s Studio, Loghman Jewelers, Sunglass Hut, Smashburger, Urban Beach House, Ooh La La, and the newly opened Lorna Jane.
“Del Mar Plaza draws in locals and tourists alike looking to experience the unique ocean-view restaurants, along with national and one-of-kind retailers,” said West Coast Retail Market Lead Craig Killman.
Lululemon, Arhaus open at Woodfield Mall
Schaumburg, Ill. — Woodfield Mall is celebrating the grand opening of six new retailers this summer, adding to the center’s nearly 300 stores.
New and first-in-market retailers include: Lululemon Athletica, Arhaus, Camille La Vie, Uno de 50, 100% Pure and The White Barn Candle Co. These additions come on the heels of the recently added Garage, Sperry Top-Sider, Silver Jeans and the first-ever Ricky B’s Prime Burger House.

X Team partner completes two Texas leases for LA Fitness
Dallas — X Team International partner Venture Commercial Real Estate has completed leases for two LA Fitness locations in Austin and McKinney, Texas.
"As LA Fitness continues to expand its footprint into North and Central Texas, our focus remains on identifying prime locations that will both meet the club’s needs and generate increased foot traffic," said Venture Commercial Partner John Zikos.
In Central Texas, LA Fitness signed a lease for a reverse build-to-suit on a 37,000-sq.-ft. facility that will anchor a new development on the northeast corner of West Slaughter Lane and Manchaca roads in southwest Austin.
LA Fitness also signed a lease in North Texas to build another 37,000-sq.-ft. facility in McKinney, where the club will join anchor tenant Sprouts Farmers Market in the newest phase of the Water Tower Place development, located at the southwest corner of Custer Road and Virginia Parkway.
Construction is expected to begin in the near term on both of the locations.
