Jones Lang LaSalle makes southeast leasing hires

Atlanta — Jones Lang LaSalle announced Wednesday two new hires in the Southeast Region.

Andrea Kenney and John Lambert have joined the firm to provide strategic planning and evaluation of the positioning, merchandising and development of shopping centers as owners continue to look for ways to enhance their real estate operations and maximize tenancy.

With 20 years of real estate experience in leasing, development, management, finance and operations, Lambert joins the firm as VP and regional leasing director for Jones Lang LaSalle Retail’s Atlanta and Florida markets. He will be based out of the firm’s Atlanta office and report directly to Steve Yenser, executive VP and director of open-air retail.

Kenney, with more than 25 years of experience in the shopping center industry, will serve as VP leasing specialist for the Atlanta market, and will be based out of the Atlanta office reporting to Lambert.

House of Buccellati to open on Madison Avenue

New York City — Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group said it has successfully orchestrated a buy-out/lease disposition at 46 East 57th Street for jewelry house Buccellati, and simultaneously arranged its move to 810 Madison Avenue.

The Milan, Italy-based company has closed the East 57th Street store after more than four decades and will open in a new location on the "Jewel Mile" between 67th and 68th Streets.

Buccellati will take immediate possession of the former Bonpoint store at 810 Madison Avenue.

Brixmor names senior leasing and redevelopment executive

New York City — Brixmor Property Group announced Tuesday a series of corporate and regional enhancements to its leasing and redevelopment capabilities as it re-focuses on growing portfolio occupancy, strengthening retailer relationships and ramping-up redevelopment efforts.

Timothy J. Bruce has been appointed executive VP, leasing and redevelopment and as a member of the company’s Management Committee.

Bruce’s primary responsibility will be the strategic and day-to-day oversight of leasing, national accounts, redevelopment and ancillary income for Brixmor’s portfolio of 585 community and neighborhood shopping centers aggregating approximately 92 million sq. ft.

Bruce has over 25 years of retail real estate experience, including holding senior leasing and development positions at DDR, Acadia Realty Trust and Westfield, LLC.

In addition, Tyson Fraser has been named VP, leasing, Central Region. Based in Chicago, Fraser will direct leasing efforts for approximately 11.7 million sq. ft. of community and neighborhood shopping centers spanning seven states.

Fraser has held positions at Icon Real Estate Leasing and Management, Edgemark Commercial Real Estate and Mid-America Real Estate.

The company has also added six leasing representatives within its regional operating structure, including Samuel Kallmerten and Andrew Malvezzi in the Northeast region based in Boston; Daniel Germano in the South region based in Orlando; Cole Munger and Jodie Pearson in the Southwest region based in Houston; and Scott Singleton in the Southwest region based in Dallas.
