KeyPoint brokers sale of Shrewsbury, Mass., retail property
Burlington, Mass. — Torchlight Investors has sold the property at 476 Boston Turnpike. KeyPoint Partners represented Torchlight in the transaction.
B-W Warrenville Operations bought the property, a former Borders Books store, prominently located in a retail-intensive section of Route 9 near Stop & Shop, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bob’s Stores and Staples.
The new owner plans to redevelop the site for Buffalo Wild Wings and Tile Shop.
KeyPoint extends Kohl’s lease at The Crossings
Burlington, Mass. — Kohl’s Department Store has signed a long-term renewal at The Crossings in Newington, N.H., according to KeyPoint Partners, the firm that manages and leases the center.
KeyPoint also recently signed Ulta Beauty and Trader Joe’s as new tenants.
The 475,000-sq.-ft. Crossings is adjacent to the Fox Run Mall at the heart of the vibrant Newington/Portsmouth retail market. Other tenants include Old Navy, Best Buy, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Kitchen & Company, Staples, Michaels, Five Below and Toys ‘R’ Us. The Crossings also features 15-screen, stadium seating, surround-sound Regal Cinema.
Shopko strengthens e-commerce
Shopko is turning to Innotrac Corporation, a commerce provider that integrates digital technology, fulfillment, contact center and business intelligence solutions, to help the retailer bolster its e-commerce business.
The retailer carries products in a broad range of categories including apparel, electronics, health and beauty, home goods, toys and sporting goods and furniture. Shopko manufactures its own private label brands and in addition to carrying name brands such as Keurig, Adidas, Reebok, Kitchen Aid, Fisher-Price and Sony.
"We’re very excited to add Shopko to our family of clients," said Larry Hanger, SVP of client services at Innotrac. "Shopko has a very strong history dating back to the 1960s. We look forward to working with them as they continue to grow."
Innotrac partnered with Micros to develop an e-commerce solution for Shopko. The e-commerce site is powered by Micros on the front end with Innotrac’s OMS, CRM, fulfillment and business intelligence on the back end.

The Shopko website will have a new look based on customizations with the Micros platform. Shopko’s order fulfillment will be located in one of Innotrac’s Ohio locations, allowing the retailer to reach the majority of the U.S. population within two days using ground shipping. Innotrac will also provide customer care out of its call center in Pueblo, Colo.
Founded in 1962 and headquartered in Green Bay, Wis., Shopko operates more than 330 stores in 21 states throughout the Midwest, Mountain, North Central and Pacific Northwest regions. Retail formats include 134 Shopko stores, 176 Shopko Hometown locations, 5 Shopko Express Rx stores and 18 Shopko Pharmacy locations.
