Pirch enters the Northeast, opens 20,000-sq.-ft. store at Garden State Plaza
New York — High-end home appliances and outfitting retailer Pirch will open its first store in the Northeast, at Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, on March 28.
The 20,000-sq.-ft. store, the company’s eighth to date, allows shoppers to "test-drive" a carefully-curated collection of premier kitchen, bath, laundry, and outdoor living brands in a highly interactive and sensory environment.
As it has on previous locations, Pirch collaborated with Fitch on the interior architecture and design of the Paramus location. The space will echo Pirch’s previous stores with its signature "try before you buy" concept that features functional vignettes with live cooktops, ovens, refrigerators and grills, as well as working showers, sinks and baths – all presented in a warm and welcoming space.
"We are thrilled to welcome the first Pirch store in the North East to Westfield Garden State Plaza," said Greg Miles, Westfield's U.S. chief operating officer. "This innovative and creative new kitchen, bath and outdoor home concept enhances and personalizes the shopping experience for all customers with its interactive showrooms, affording greater access and product information for the professional and consumer alike.”
