Morgan’s Foods taps Action Services Group for sign/exterior lighting services across six states

Aston, Pa. — Action Services Group, a national retail and commercial lighting, sign and electrical maintenance and service company announced a service agreement with Morgan’s Foods Inc., operator of KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut Express and A&W restaurants under franchises licenses, to perform sign and exterior lighting service and maintenance for 73 of their franchise units.

The agreement covers on-demand sign and exterior lighting maintenance and repair services for the 73 units located throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, Missouri and Illinois.

In addition Action Services Group will provide annual sign and electrical inspection, annual sign cleaning of exterior store signs, and relamping signage and exterior fluorescent lighting once every two years.

Action Services Group provides lighting, sign and electrical maintenance services, re-lamping and LED retrofit services to retail store chains and restaurant chains, commercial building operators and educational and healthcare institutions across the United States and Canada. Using a proprietary, web based service management system, ServicePoint Solutions, Action Services Group stores and tracks all location asset data after the initial service call virtually eliminating return-trip service charges, tracks all product warranty information to maximize cost savings and measures each service call with a customer satisfaction survey at the site level.

Alliance Data to be credit card provider for Barneys New York

DALLAS — Alliance Data Systems Corp. announced its retail services business has signed a long-term agreement to provide private label credit card services for Barneys New York.

Alliance Data will provide a full suite of credit and marketing services for the Barneys credit card, including management of its existing loyalty program. Designed to offer meaningful benefits to the elite Barneys card member. Alliance Data will also leverage its advanced analytics capabilities to further support one-to-one relevance and value to esteemed card members, as well as development of strategies related to the Barneys credit card across all of Barneys retail channels.

"Alliance Data’s retail heritage, exceptional customer care practices, and proven credit and marketing tools were key factors in our decision to partner with them," said Daniella Vitale, COO of Barneys New York. "Through this credit card program, we look forward to further enhancing brand affinity and driving long-term loyalty among our valued customers. In addition, the proceeds from this transaction were used to further reduce our debt, allowing us to invest capital in strategic growth areas for the company which is consistent with the vision of our new owners."

Discover offers cash incentive for home improvement purchases

Discover Financial Services is offering extra cashback for home improvement store purchases.

Discover card members can earn 5% Cashback Bonus on up to $1,500 in purchases at home improvement stores. The deal runs through June 30.

“Spring is the perfect time to start a home improvement project, such as reinvigorating your kitchen or finishing a new stone patio in time for summer,” said Dana Traci, VP rewards at Discover. “This quarter, cardmembers can quickly build their Cashback Bonus rewards while they spruce up their homes for the warmer months ahead.”

After making $1,500 in home improvement purchases, Discover cardmembers will continue to receive their standard cash back on all other purchases.
