NAI Global names NYC exec

Princeton, N.J. — NAI Global said that Jay B. Olshonsky has joined the NAI Global New York City team as executive VP and COO.

Olshonsky previously was COO at NAI Friedland Realty, NAI Global’s Westchester County affiliate. He joined the NAI network in 2010 after 15 years with CB Richard Ellis, where he served as managing director in charge of its Washington, D.C., brokerage operations.

Wet Seal opens at Esplanade Shopping Center

Oxnard, Calif. — New York City-based Centro Properties Group announced that Wet Seal has opened a 6,000-sq.-ft. store at Esplanade Shopping Center, located in Oxnard, Calif.

The new store celebrated its grand opening on April 16.

Centro Properties Group is the owner of Esplanade Shopping Center.

Arirang Japanese Bistro to open at Sycamore Plaza

Cincinnati — Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased restaurant space to Arirang Japanese Bistro at Sycamore Plaza in Cincinnati.

The Japanese Hibachi steak house and sushi restaurant leased 7,600 sq. ft. and is slated to open in the fall. The dining establishment is taking the space formerly occupied by Max & Erma’s restaurant.

The 390,957-sq.-ft. shopping center combines two properties with Sycamore Plaza and Sycamore Crossing and is anchored by Macy’s Furniture Gallery, Toys “R” Us and Dick’s Sporting Goods, alongside national retailers such as Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Old Navy and Staples.
