Noodles & Co. to open at Village Center at Dulles

Herndon, Va. — Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said that it has leased space at Village Center at Dulles, located in Herndon, Va., to Noodles & Co.

The 3,167-sq.-ft. store is slated to open this summer, and brings the center to 98% leased.

The 308,000-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Shoppers Food Warehouse, Staples and Gold’s Gym, and also includes Starbucks, Chuck E. Cheese, Subway, GNC, State Farm and The UPS Store.

Sears Holdings celebrates 10 years of shipping convenience

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — The ability to order a product online and pick it up at a local store is a service many retailers have only recently started providing, so it may be surprising to learn the Sears Holdings will be celebrating its 10th year of providing its Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store service.

"Sears was among the first to pioneer the Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store concept, which has given our customers another convenient way to shop online and more recently through their mobile devices," said Imran Jooma, president of e-commerce Sears Holdings. "We’re excited to have already served millions of customers and look forward to millions more. The amount of customers that continue to utilize our Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store service clearly illustrates how much consumers value convenient and fast online shopping solutions. It is a true testament to our dedicated service and commitment to our customers."

Ship-to-store service is now available at several major retailers including Walmart, Target and Best Buy.

Paster acquires Cahill Plaza

St. Paul, Minn. — A partnership between St. Paul, Minn.-based Paster Enterprises and Chicago-based Shiner Capital Partners announced the purchase of Cahill Plaza, located in Inver Grove Heights, Minn.

Cahill Plaza is a 69,000-sq.-ft. shopping center that is anchored by a 52,017-sq.-ft. Cub Foods and a 6,165-sq.-ft. MGM Liquor. Additional tenants include Great Clips, RR Cleaners, C & A Nails, Edward Jones and Papa Johns.

The acquisition of Cahill Plaza officially closed on April 21. There are no immediate plans for redevelopment, according to the owners.
