Nordstrom to relocate Hawaii store
Seattle – Nordstrom, Inc. plans to relocate its full-line store to a new space within Ala Moana Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. The new three-level, approximately 186,000-sq.-ft. store is expected to open spring 2016.
Nordstrom will continue serving customers at its current 211,000-sq.-ft. full-line store at Ala Moana Center that it opened in March 2008 until it relocates. This relocation is part of Ala Moana Center’s redevelopment project which includes additional mall space, underground parking, two anchor stores and a residential condominium project. Nordstrom will be moving to the Ewa end of the center on Piikoi Street.

"We will be able to bring our newest design concepts that we hope will make for a great shopping experience for both locals and visitors."
WinCo enters Dallas-Fort Worth market
Boise, Idaho – WinCo Foods, LLC will open its first discount supermarkets in the state of Texas on Feb. 6, in the cities of Fort Worth and McKinney. The stores are each approximately 95,000 sq. ft. in size and include WinCo’s newest decor package creating an efficient, clean feel that highlights product and coordinates with the hundreds of WinCo Foods private label products the company has recently introduced.
The Fort Worth store will initially employ approximately 180 individuals, 170 of which have been hired locally and the McKinney store will open with approximately 170 employees, 160 hired locally.
Fort Worth store manager Casey Ray transfers to the store from Roy, Utah, and has been with the company for 13 years. McKinney store manager Hollie Keller transfers to the store from Kent, Wash. and is a 25 year veteran with WinCo Foods.
HSNi names United Entertainment Group as agency of record
St. Petersburg, Fla. — The United Entertainment Group (UEG), a global entertainment and marketing agency, has been chosen by HSNi to become its marketing partnership agency of record.
As part of the deal, UEG and its partner UTA (United Talent Agency) will utilize its combined presence in Hollywood and on Madison Avenue to build upon HSNi’s ongoing foray into integrating entertainment and retail by building partnerships that consist of celebrity brands, music platforms, television and film collaborations, and like-minded brand partnerships.
